On July 1, StayC held a media showcase to commemorate the release of their first full-length album, “Metamorphic”. It is known that StayC will release “Metamorphic” and the title track “Cheeky Icy Thang” on various music sites at 6 PM (KST) on this day.
Meanwhile, earlier that day, at midnight, YG Entertainment’s new rookie group BABYMONSTER released their new single “FOREVER”, and fellow girl group KISS OF LIFE released their single “Sticky”.
As a result, StayC was asked to share their thoughts regarding making their comeback together with BABYMONSTER & KISS OF LIFE. Particularly, member Sieun said, “Rather than feeling pressured by the overlapping comeback timing, we felt glad.”
Sieun also added, “We usually enjoy listening to and watching performances by KISS OF LIFE and BABYMONSTER, so we are excited about the possibility of meeting them on music shows.”
Regarding StayC’s unique charm, she said, “We have often been referred to as a ‘healing idol’ group with our previous albums, but this time we’ve made a different change. I think StayC’s strength is that there is nothing we can’t pull off, we can digest anything.”
